About Don

Don spent 32 years in the Staffing business helping job candidates find their Dream Job career through his staff of 45 consultants and service personnel. His firm was privately owned with a business partner for over 25 years prior to selling the business to a national personnel service company.

His firm, Creative Staffing, was a multi-million dollar enterprise serving a local community of employers seeking skills and talents in the workforce. All fees for services were paid by his employer clients, never by a job candidate. Also, value added services were provided through our Computer training lab for candidates to enhance their skills/talents on personal computers in order to improve their level of career positioning with a client as well as earnings potential in their future employment.

Today, since retiring from the staffing business, Don writes about business challenges experienced and learned in the real world, where the “rubber meets the road”. He also writes about how to discover your Dream Job as an employee and as a business owner.

In his former life prior to the staffing business, Don graduated from King’s College with a focus on accounting and business administration which served him well. After being the owner of a Mail-Order firm; partner in a vending business; postal employee; Office Manager for an envelope manufacturer; all prior to entering the staffing business seems a distant past but filled with memories to share.
