It is even more important in a democracy, because disagreement is the foundation of democracy. If everyone agreed on everything, then monarchies would work. But they don't work, because people don't agree on everything, so the most important aspect of democracy is understanding how to disagree with each other properly. The Never Ending Brainstorm is about learning how to disagree and how to be disagreed with, both in the context of government and also in daily life. If you are interested in changing society, it has to start with changing yourself.
