Automobiles are emitting considerable volumes of greenhouse gases to the environment. Carbon dioxide emission by cars is considered a challenge in combating greenhouse gas emissions. This study investigated the influence of car type and age and noted significant correlations. Some car models emit high CO2 than others. Similarly, old cars emit higher amounts of CO2 than new cars.
