Book excerpt: "The entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty has increased the importance of fundamental rights, attributing the same legal value to the CFR as the EU treaties, and opening up the possibility of the EU's accession to the ECHR. In this context, this book analyses whether the current level of fundamental rights protection in leniency procedures falls within the parameters of accepted ECHR standards.
