He has categorized his verse into six sections, consisting of "Landscapes, Seasons and Nature," "Inspirational Thoughts," "Family and Friends," "Reflections," "Destinations," and "Books and Music." Terry and his wife, Sandy have traveled to most of the states in this nation, as well as Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Each locale has had its unique effect on his inspiration to write. The thousands of people he has been in contact with over the years have also been a major contributor to his poetry. Above all, he credits God for supplying all things necessary to complete this collection. He is currently working on a second collection of poems for his next book.
