All players represented in this book played in the major leagues at the position in which I have placed them.The guidelines the author followed are: 1) each team consists of the eight position players, a designated hitter, four starting pitchers and one relief pitcher; 2) the author used last names in all sections except People, Places, and Things, where I use first or last names. In one case, for my body parts team, he could not find a catcher with either a first or last name to qualify, so he had to come up with a body part nickname: "Schnozz" Lombardi. Nor could he find a shortstop that met his requirements, so he picked Larry Kopf. Kopf is German for head.This is a fun look at our national pastime from the zany perspective a lifelong baseball fan.
