This book was released on 2007 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The motivation of this thesis was to boost the interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) of traditional glass fiber reinforced thermoset polymer composites by strategically adding Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) in the thickness direction by injecting CNT suspensions into the stationary glass fiber mats. The objective of this thesis is to understand the flow, rheology and impregnation of resin nanotube suspensions with the goal of aligning the nanotubes in the transverse direction in between the fiber mats.
