Gus and Mouse have moved into the Historical Museum, living there with Mr. Frizzle and Cora the cat. Late one night, Cora came in from a moonlit walk and said,

Gus, the friendly little ghost, is in danger of losing his home when the owners decide to have the old house demolished, but events take a different turn.
