C., October 12-16, 1888 The Synod was Opened with reading and prayer. The Minutes of yesterday were read and approved. On motion of Rev. T. H. Law, all excuses for absence from the last meeting were referred to the Committee on Leave Of Absence, without being presented to Synod. Rev. George Summey, Stated Clerk of Bethel Presbytery, announced that the Rev. George L. Cook had this morning been received into that Presbytery, and he was accordingly enrolled as a member of Synod.
