Book excerpt: "The Eiteljorg Museum is excited to present Native Art Now!, which includes a traveling retrospective exhibition reviewing two decades of the Eiteljorg Contemporary Art Fellowship program. Every other year since 1999, the Fellowship program has selected a new group of five Native artists and provided them grant support to further their careers. The Eiteljorg has purchased more than 200 contemporary works and received gifts of another 200 to add to its permanent collection. Thirty-nine of the most compelling pieces of contemporary art acquired by the museum are on display in Native Art Now! This fascinating exhibition will be open through Jan. 28, 2018.
