Book excerpt: Description: This series consists of 87 pieces of personal correspondence sent to William and Adele Stein, West Point, Mississippi, and Hewlett, New York, from various members of the Armed Forces. The senders are: Private Colin Reed, Captain Sam Sax, Private Harold Schuster, Private Bernard Stein (Williamâ€TMs brother), Captain Sam Sherman (cousin), Private Samuel S. Smith (cousin), Sergeant Julian P. Theobald and his parents, and First Lieutenant Gene Zahn.;Personal correspondence and military documents sent to Mr. and Mrs. William Adele, from several members of the Armed Forces throughout the war.
