A graphite, vacuum-cup electrode was used for the initial part of the study. The precision achieved was poor, even though attempts were made to improve the precision with known aids. The substitution of a silver vacuum-cup-electrode system improved the precision markedly. This paper describes the use of both of the systems and the effects achieved.
