Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that "the Last Hour will not come to you until you see ten signs before it." These ten signs are generally known as the Major signs. There are some other great signs interspersed with these ten Major signs. Some scholars categorize them as part of the major signs while some just refer to them as intermediate signs. These major signs together with the intermediate signs represent the Great signs and events heralding the Last Hour as foretold by the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They are referred to as Major signs because they are overwhelming events which precede the Last Hour and are closer to it.The Muslim believes that the knowledge of the Last Hour is known to Allaah alone. At the same time, the Muslim is well-informed from the words of the Creator of the universe and the prophecies of the benefactor of mankind, the last Messenger, Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) that this world will not come to an end until certain Great signs and events come to pass. These Great signs follow one another in succession. No sooner would one take place without it being followed by the other; a break or interruption between any two of these signs, if there is any, will be transient, and, in fact, negligible. The similitude of their occurrence in quick succession can be compared to the neatly-arranged beads of a necklace falling one after the other in quick succession when its string is cut. These detailed information about the ultimate events of the end of days which were revealed by Allaah, the Knower of all things, to the unlettered Prophet, Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم), cannot be obtained elsewhere in a more vivid form. However, some authors and preachers are angered by anything Islaam or anything celebrated by Islaam and claim that the Prophet [Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم)] "got most of his ideas concerning the end times from discussions with Christians and Jews" and that "these ideas were later embellished by his followers who were even better acquainted with biblical prophecies concerning the end times!" This is a most timid and callous way to shy away from the resounding truth and reality. Is anyone still in doubt regarding the proof and validity of the Qur''aan and the message given to Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in this age? This book confronts that doubt and takes the doubter out of his delusion and disbelief. From an Islamic perspective, the book takes the reader through the appearance of the Mahdee, the emergence of the Dajjaal (the One-eyed "Antichrist"), the return of ''Eesaa ibn Maryam [Jesus, son of Mary (عليه السلام)], his slaying the Dajjaal, his establishing and restoring the Sharee''ah of Prophet [Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم)] and ruling by it, the egression and exploit of Ya''jooj and Ma''jooj (Gog and Magog) and their eventual annihilation, the Three Subsidences (al-Khusoofaat ath-Thalaathah), its grip and its repercussion, the eruption of the Smoke (ad-Dukhaan), the Rising of the Sun in the West and its aftermath, the emergence of the Beast of the Earth (ad-Daabbah al-Ard) and her speaking to the people and marking them with distinguishing signs, the Withdrawal of the Qur''aan from the pages and hearts of the people when they do not make use of it, the Demolition of the Ka''bah by Dhoo as-Suwayqatayn from Abyssinia and the cessation of Hajj, the Dispersion of the Pleasant Wind that will take the souls of the believers, the Visitation of the Enveloping Fire that will gather the people to the Place of Assembly and the Blast of the Trumpet that will cause mankind to swoon and herald the beginning of cosmic changes and universal upheaval that will culminate in a global cataclysm. With over 2,000 references and footnotes, the reader is provided requisite information and factual details along with the main text.
