On the less sunny borders the lobelias would be beautiful, as would the dwarf morn ing glories which remain open all day. The tufted pansies are permanent and beautiful border plants, especially the yellow ones, and one can compose very artistic color schemes by using flowers that harmonize with the edging plants in the different beds.
