We have been en couraged by subscriptions for the first year, but we need double this number of subscribers to insure the continuance of. The review beyond a second year. The rules of the Association are such that any surplus at the close of the year will be devoted to the improvement of the review, and the reduction of the price of subscription. Under these circumstances we feel warranted in calling upon our brethren of the various Presbyteries, Classes, and Synods to aid us in securing as large a number of subscribers as possible, not only from the ministry, but also from the eldership and the intelligent membership of our Churches.
